After a pleasant shock we got in the Becher Hotel we went for a walk around that amazing town. We started from the St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), scaled the San Marco Clock tower and walked near the Bridge of Sighs. After a walk around the city we visited the church of Santi Giovanni, took a gondola ride along Rialto, admired the church of Santa Maria and finished the day with dinner right near the Rialto Bridge. Then we spent another few minutes in the St. Mark’s Square and returned to our hotel which was just a stone’s throw away from the square.
We started the seventh day with a trip to the Murano Island. The island is famous for its glassmakers.
But like everything in Venice the trip itself is exciting enough to deserve separate attention.
